Wednesday In-person & Zoom Bible Study

Salem’s weekly bible study is usually held each Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in the Narthex.  If you desire to join us through Zoom, Pastor sends a link each week to the regular attendees.  If you wish to join us and have not previously attended, send or call Pastor to be added to the distribution.

In-Person Sunday Worship Service

We are having in-person worship this Sunday with fellowship time following the service.  We have one service at 10:00am.  We revert back to the 9:00am time in the summer, beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.  We are returning to a pre-pandemic service routine, except for the following:
  • Thank you for arriving by 15 minutes prior to the service to allow time for parking and seating.
  • Masks are optional.
  • Please park near the church entrance for those who choose to remain in their car.
  • Everyone has the option to enjoy the service from their car with their radio tuned to FM 107.1 MHz.  Please notify an usher at the entrance door that you are present and receive your bulletin(s).
  • Holy Communion will be served using the following protocol:
  • Wine or grape juice and bread will be served. Prepackaged communion will be available for those worshiping from their car. No Common Cup will be offered at this time.
  • Distribution of communion elements will be served in a continuous single line in front of the altar.
    • An usher will provide directions to approach the altar using the center aisle.
    • Walk toward the altar where the Pastor and an assistant will distribute the bread and wine or grape juice.
    • After receiving the bread, wine or grape juice, and blessing continue to the side of the Pastor, based on which side you sit, to the table where you will give yourself the elements and dispose of your used cup in the basket.  Note: Three kneeling rails at the sides and back of the altar are open to those who would like to kneel by the altar for a few moments. This time may be used for personal prayer and thanksgiving. When you are finished, please return to your pew after discarding the communion cup.
    • Return to your seat following the outer path located to the outside of the pews (close to the windows). Example: If seated on the left side of the church as facing the altar, return using the left side aisle and so on.
    • Prepackaged communion will be brought by ushers to those worshiping from their vehicles.
  • One restroom is available: the first one in the back hallway.
  • Childcare and nursery are not available.  However, a children’s Sunday School class may begin following the children’s message from the pastor.
  • Worship will last approximately 60 minutes.
  • We ask people not to attend worship if they are feeling ill, have a temperature of 100.4 F or higher, have been exposed to COVID-19, or have a compromised immune system.
