Salem’s ELCA Lenten Appeal – Fish Farm

Salem is collecting funds to purchase fish farms to support the sustainable development programs of ELCA World Hunger. For every $250 raised, a fish farm can be purchased to provide a pond, training, and a starting stock of fast-growing fish to provide the community with a sustainable longtime supply of fish. Donations will be accepted through Easter. A share donation of a pond can be made at $50 or whatever amount you desire. Salem’s goal is to raise $1000 in this effort to purchase four fishponds.

If you want to donate to this good cause, mark your donation with either your name or envelope number to credit your donation for the 2023 giving season. There are a few ways you can donate:

1. Drop your donation in the church’s Narthex offering box.
2. Send it to Salem Lutheran Church at 3825 Norrisville Road, Jarrettsville, MD 21084.
