Church EventsSunday Worship is at 9:00 am, with Holy Communion celebrated on the first and third Sundays, and holy days. Sunday School is at about 9:30 am. Children attend the first part of the worship service, and then adjourn to the Sunday School room for special lessons geared to their age. Our school is small, and individual care is a keynote. Come at 9:30 am to the main hall of the church buildings. You will be cordially received. Ages 4 - grade 6. Saturday Worship is celebrated on the third Saturday of the month at 6:00 pm. It includes Holy Communion. The worship is casual and creative, with the sermon presented in conversational style. The music includes a variety of hymns that are easily sung to a keyboard and guitar accompanimnent, often with other instruments as well. Confirmation Class is taught by Pastor Larsen after Sunday worship. Confirmation is usually a two year program. The study material includes the Bible, Luther's Small Catechism and other Lutheran teachings. For information, please contact Pastor Larsen. Lenten Worship Services. We will hold Ash Wednesday worship at 7:30 pm on February 22, with imposition of ashes and holy communion. Come at 6:30 pm for a bread and soup supper. Wednesday March 21 will feature a Taize-style worship service at 7:30 pm. On other Wednesdays at 7:00 pm during Lent, we will have a brief prayer service followed by a Bible study taken from the "Book of Faith Lenten Journey." Our Holy Week services begin with Palm Sunday on April 1 at the regular 9:00 am service. Maunday Thursday and Good Friday services will be at 7:30 pm. Easter, the Resurrection of Our Lord, will be celebrated on April 8 at 9:00 am followed by a great coffee hour. Our adult Bible study meets on Mondays at 10:00 am. We are currently studying the book of James. Following that study, we will move on to some of the other short New Testement Epistles. The Stitchers meet on Thurdays at 9:00 am. This is a sewing, arts, and crafts group. Come and join us for a fun time. Church Choir practice is at 7:00 pm on Thursdays. Join us! No experience is necessary!
