Day Care Program
Like the Nursery School, Salem's day care is at 3825 Norrisville Road, across from Jarrettsville Elementary School. It is licensed by the Office of Child Care Licensing and Regulation.
All programs are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We do not discriminate against any child for reasons of race, religion, color or national origin. As an outreach of Salem Lutheran Church, however, it will be understood that certain parts of the days's schedule will have a Christian character: prayers before snacks, a Bible story told by the pastor, and so on.
To be accepted into the all day preschool day care program, a child must be at least three years old and potty trained. A nursery school curriculum will be taught Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. The Day Care is open year round with two separate contracts (one for the school term and one for the summer program). Salem Lutheran Children Center will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. Certain major holidays will be observed when the center is closed.
A non-refundable registration fee of $60 will be charged for all programs ($30 for a second child), and is due with the registration form.
