Nursery School Program
Salem Lutheran Nursery School is located at 3825 Norrisville Rd. (Rt. 23) across the from Jarrettsville Elementary School. Our Nursery School is licensed and accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education as a non-public nursery school.
We have programs for two age groups; three-year-old and four-year-old.
The three-year-old program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are two sessions: an A.M. program from 9 to ll:30; and a P.M. program from 12:30 to 3:00. The maximum class size is 16 children with one teacher and one aide per class.
The four-year-old program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There are two sessions: an A.M. program from 9 to ll:30 and a P.M. program from l2:30 to 3:00. The maximum class size is 20 children with one teacher and one aide per class.
There is also a Four year old five day program, which meets 9 to 12:00 p.m. The maximum class size is 20 children with one teacher and one aide.
Salem Lutheran Nursery School admits students of any race, color, religion or national and ethnic origin.
The Nursery School term runs September through May. The registration fee is $60 for all programs and is due with the registration form ($30 for a second child). This fee is not refundable. September's tuition will be due with registration.
The tuition is $115 per month for the two-day A.M. or P.M. three-year-old program.
The tuition is $140 per month for the three-day A.M. or P.M. four-year-old program.
The tuition is $220 per month for the five-day program.

We are seeking to enhance our program by offering a two-year-old program if the response warrants it. It would involve a variety of activities to enhance the development of the whole child. It would be held on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a parent or guardian attending with the child. The fee would be $75 for the entire session, starting in September and January.
