Lutheran World Relief

Salem members also support the mission efforts of Lutheran World Relief (LWR).

In 2014 LWR reached about 4.8 million people around the world, worked in 35 countries and implemented 153 programs.  These numbers vary from year to year, depending upon the needs around the world.

Eighty-nine percent (89%) of contributions to LWR goes to program work, with only 11% used for fund-raising and administration.
